On Saturday 26th April at the Masonic Hall in Sunderland a meeting of the Northern Shires Council was held.
The Grand Chancellor for the Northern Shires Sir Knight Anthony Burke GCAG took the chair for the meeting at which 25 new Knights were admitted into the Order and were proclaimed Knights of the Ancient Masonic Order of Alfred the Great (KAG).
Eight Knights were from the Province of Lindsey MOA and the remainder were from Northumbria and South Reghed.
A wonderful day was had by all present. The next meeting of the Northern Shires Council will be in September at Widnes.
